This is a Trivet, is designed to protect your tables and benches from hot pots and pans. This is a Trivet is a simple and smart transformation of material. It embraces the idea of sustainable design by repurposing excess material (i.e. Corian®) from the manufacture of bench tops. The concept of “This is a Trivet” was naturally inspired by the flexibility of the unique material. It is a simple free flowing form with functionality incorporated in it. The Trivet is easy to clean, its nonporous property means that stains will not penetrate its surface. With proper cleaning the Trivet resists the growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. The Trivet is heat resistant to 240 C ~ 260 C.
